Tchad yaa Tchad!! Thousands of real warriors have lost their live to free our nation from a Libyan occupation; thousands more lost their lives to free the people from the dictator HH; and comes the day we all dreamed off: “NI OR, NI ARGENT...... LA LIBERTEE”. That day, most of the Chadian people said Al-HAMDOU-LIL-LAH; the people prayed and thanked God that helped the MPS to end the suffering and misery, thanks that Hissen Habre run out of Tchad! For this great occasion, the happy people of Ndjamena called their new market: (Soug Hissen Djara). However many people inside and out the country can’t stop to ask them self, if liberty has really arrived to the people of Tchad?
20 years letter, Yet Chadian people still live in a world with
remarkable deprivation, destitution and oppression. There are many new problems well as old ones, including persistence of extreme poverty and unfulfilled elementary needs by most of ordinary
citizen. Occurrence of famines in few regions of the country and, widespread of hunger, and diseases; violation of elementary political freedoms as well as much needed primary liberties. Absence
of security and force of Law, civil administration very incompetent and corruption so the day and become a national culture! Environmental and tribal threats to our Lac-Tchad and the people
grounded. Worst of all major neglect and ignorance to the poor and the future of the youth!!
How can one be free if his right are not provided to by the state? How can I be freed if my government can’t provide me with basic essential human needs? How can I be freed if I do not possess the same right and opportunities with an ordinary Zakhawa? How can one be freed if his stomach is empty? How can the people of Tchad be freed with nothing to hope for? Brothers don’t you think that our people paid enough? Don’t you think that people, who lost their live for the hope to see a Tchad freed and prospered, deserve better recognition? Freedom and liberty mean the “removal of major sources of unfreedom: Poverty and tyranny”.
I’m very great full for those who lost their lives in the hope to see our nation enjoy freedom: They will remain in our heart forever!!
Tel me Mr: WHAT YOU MEAN BY LIBERTY?
